Christos is Skilled, Experienced and Committed

Christos J. Gianopoulos, M.A., M.P.A., has assisted business leaders, and other committed individuals to clarify their thinking about the direction and management of their enterprises. Chiristos has decades of experience in personal and professional development, leadership of community initiatives, and teaching. Christos is a Registered Counselor in the State of Maine.

Christos has worked with non-profit organizations such as the Maine Audubon Society and the Maine Lyceum. From 1981 to 1988, he was on the professional staff of the Maine Legislature. He serves as an adjunct faculty member in Political Science, Public Administration, Organizational Studies, and Philosophy at the University of Maine at Augusta, the University of Southern Maine, and Maine's Community Colleges.

Christos is a certified MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) practitioner with more than a decade of professional experience in interpreting the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. He uses this respected instrument to help clients identify strengths, unique gifts, and areas for personal development. Christos was President of the Maine Chapter of the Association for Psychological Type from 1997 to June 2000.

Christos is active in the community. He is past President of the Auburn-Lewiston Breakfast Rotary Club, and he served as a Secretary to the Parish Council of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lewiston, Maine. He is a former Selectman and Chairperson of the Planning Board in the Town of Greene, Maine. Christos presently is a member of the Board of Directors of the C.G. Jung Center in Brunswick, Maine, serving as Treasurer. He is also a Vietnam veteran.

A graduate of Bowdoin College, Christos holds graduate degrees from American University and Syracuse University.
